Overcoming Shame and Following Your Dreams with April Davis of The Vagina Blog

Welcome back to The Donas Project: Advice & Stories from people who don’t suck! In today’s episode, we have April Davis, the creator of the Vagina Blog.

April has seen a lot of vaginas in her time, between attending births as a doula, a photographer, and a birth assistant to a midwife. She’s discussed and researched anything and everything about vaginas, from postpartum sex positions to urinary incontinence, period panties, and menstruation. The Vagina Blog is a dream come through for April, so she made it her full-time job. She wants to make the blog the ultimate source for all things vulva and vagina, and we are here for it!

Today, she joins us to share her personal stories of overcoming shame while following your dreams and doing whatever you feel your calling is. She tells us everything we need to know about syncing our periods with the moon, seed cycling, and whether or not it’s a good idea to dye our pubic hair. Donna and April also chat about using your female intuition and personal food choices. April Davis & The Vagina Blog
